Keila Santana began her career in banking, working in legal and lending support roles at Align Credit Union, where she assisted with loan closings and transactional documentation. She also supported the review of trustee and estate-related contracts, strengthening her understanding of fiduciary structures, legal documentation, and regulatory requirements. This experience provided her with a strong foundation in lender requirements, financial documentation, and transaction-driven workflows.

She later transitioned into the insurance brokerage space as a Commercial Risk Account Specialist at Aon, supporting commercial and real estate clients across property and casualty lines. In that role, Keila coordinated endorsements, reviewed certificates of insurance, supported policy renewals and ongoing account servicing, and reviewed insurance-specific provisions within general contractor agreements to ensure proper risk transfer and alignment with insurance coverage. evaluate risk transfer and coverage alignment.
